Product Returns
Products should be returned by personal delivery to the IBB.pl Sp. z o.o. branch where the Product was ordered (the IBB.pl Sp. z o.o. branch selected during the ordering process) or by other means of delivery to the IBB.pl Store address where the Product was ordered. The Consumer is responsible for choosing how to return the Products to IBB.pl.
- IBB.pl will not refund any delivery costs other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by the IBB.pl online store.
- If the Consumer withdraws from the sales contract for only some of the Products included in a single order:
- IBB.pl will refund the portion of the delivery costs associated with the returned Products (i.e., the refund will be made to the extent that including the returned Products in the entire order increases the delivery costs). Product delivery costs that the Consumer is obligated to pay for the delivery of the part of the Products in respect of which the Consumer has not withdrawn from the contract are not refundable. Information on the delivery costs that will be included in the calculation of the non-refundable delivery costs (due to the Customer retaining the part of the Products in respect of which the Customer has not withdrawn from the contract) can be found during checkout.
You will be responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. In the case of goods that, due to their nature, cannot be returned by post, return costs may vary depending on the actual weight of the Product, shape/dimensions (in particular, the length of the longest side of the Product), the distance from the shipping location to the location to which the Product is being returned, and the transport/courier company used by the Consumer.
For retail shopping at www.ibb.pl the return costs (maximum cost of returning a Product within Poland) are estimated at:
(i) up to PLN 40 – standard-sized parcels up to 30 kg,
(ii) up to PLN 200 – pallet shipments up to 100 kg,
(iii) up to PLN 400 – pallet shipments up to 700 kg.
The Consumer does not have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded through the Online Store in the following cases:
for the provision of services, if IBB.pl has fully performed the service with the express consent of the Consumer, who was informed before the commencement of the service that after IBB.pl has performed the service, the Consumer will lose the right to withdraw from the contract;
where the subject of the service is a non-prefabricated Product, manufactured according to the Consumer's specifications or intended to meet their individual needs;
where the subject of the service is a Product delivered in a sealed package that cannot be returned after opening for health or hygiene reasons if the package was opened after receipt of the Product;
where the subject of the service is a Product that spoils quickly or has a short shelf life;
where the subject of the service is items that, due to their nature, become inseparably connected with other items after delivery;
The right to withdraw from a distance contract, under the terms described in the Terms and Conditions, also applies to an individual entering into a contract directly related to their business activity if the content of the contract indicates that it is not of a professional nature for that individual, arising in particular from the subject of their business activity, as disclosed under the provisions of the Central Registration and Information on Business.
Return Policy for Full Vehicle Shipments to International Destinations - ibb.pl full load | container module
Returns of goods shipped as full vehicle loads to international destinations shall only be accepted provided that the products are returned to the original loading location (choosed by customer during checkout) in an undamaged and resalable condition. The buyer shall bear full responsibility for all costs and risks associated with the return shipment. The seller explicitly disclaims any liability for return transportation expenses. Any returned items that arrive damaged, incomplete, or at a location other than the original place of dispatch will be rejected and will not qualify for a refund or credit.
Customer to applicable Polish law and EU Consumer Rights Directive rules has the right to withdraw from the sales contract within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods.
To exercise this right, the buyer must notify the seller in writing before the withdrawal period expires. The goods must be returned promptly and no later than 14 days after the notification of withdrawal.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in rejection of the return.
For sales outside the EU, return rights depend on the destination country's legislation and any contractual agreements. Polish law protects consumers by requiring sellers to accept returns within the 14-day withdrawal period and to refund payments promptly, but it does not mandate sellers to bear return shipping costs abroad
Estimated costs for returning full truckloads (full truck loads) within the European Union and from outside the EU to the place of original loading of the goods can vary significantly depending on the route, size, weight, and carrier. However, due to the nature and logistical requirements, these costs are high, ranging from several hundred to even several thousand euros per return.
Key costs include:
- Transportation of the full truckload from the customer's delivery location to the original loading point, where the goods must be intact and in their original condition.
- Costs of securing and properly packaging the goods for return.
- Customs duties, taxes, and other possible administrative fees when crossing borders.
- In practice, the consumer bears the cost of returning the goods, provided they have been informed in advance. These costs depend on the distance, the carrier, the mode of transport (e.g., road, rail), and other factors.
- For full truckloads, returns are complicated and expensive, so a returns policy that stipulates that returns must arrive at the loading location intact and that the buyer bears the return costs is a practical solution.
The cost of one-way transport of an entire vehicle within the EU can exceed €1,000–3,000, depending on the type and distance.
